Jesus couldn't do what He wanted in His home town. They took offence at His deeds & words only on account of familiarity. "A carpenter" by trade, He was no match for their raised expectation. They chose ro define Him with what He did in Joseph's workshop. A person should however be judged by the deliverables (results) than by his background. Today should be embraced & trusted more than yesterday. The worth of a man is determined by the here & now presence of God. Jesus noted: “A prophet is not without honor except in his own town and in his own home" (Mt 13:57). Prophets don't wrestle for honor, but move with favor
