We pray that others find protection by His blood.

Written by  Monday, 20 April 2015 00:00

The days are darker with sad news coming from different corners over the plight of Africans, particularly Ethiopians, who are being attacked for their (immigrant) status or faith. Some have been burned, others have been beheaded, and yet others have been thrown at sea for being Christians. Like the blood of Abel that “still speaks” (Heb 11:4), their agonizingly & improvidently shed blood will continue to speak volumes from South Africa to Libya, to Yemen, to the Mediterranean. As we ache & mourn in the face of such human madness, we remember the suffering of the Messiah who willingly shed His blood for all (indiscriminately). His blood “speaks a better word than the blood of Abel [and all others]” (Heb 12:24).
