The careful & conflict-free soul is never late for God.

God is practical with us. How real we are with our vertical search is reflected on our commitment to relational purity – our dealings with each other. The thought gripped me firmly on Sunday as my early caution to the kids to be ready by 10 am defaulted. Blowing the matter wouldn’t help a heart set for worship. After all, everything is down to love for God & neighbors, family being the nearest “neighbor.” Jesus instructed: “If you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift” (Mt 5:23-24). The careful & conflict-free soul is never late for God.
