Believing in a God who hears & offers from His abundance is foundational. But there is more to the spiritual equation. Jesus taught: “If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you” (Jn 15:7). “Ask whatever you wish;” wait until His words sink in though. When the heart & mind are filled with His teaching & principle, wish gets trimmed & tailored. Such a heart then desires what is pleasant & noble. God grants whatever wish originating in this circumstance, not only because it goes with His taste, but also because He honors such commitment. Faith takes shape in the abundance of the Word. And prayer becomes a delightful reality.
