The Bible is ornamented with fascinating statements of God priding over His handiwork. He has ‘every right’ to blow His own horn as no ‘breach of patent’ can be hinted universally. He alone made everything – from the minutely microscopic to the gigantically domineering.
God is an expert at micro & macro levels of inventions. In one passage He says, “I know every bird in the mountains, and the creatures of the field are mine” (Ps 50:11). In Ethiopia alone there are about 924 bird species, of which 23 are unique to the country: How many do we “know?” Not only does God track each, but He also “feeds them” each day. Knowing and caring are woven together in God.
