We are so certain about tomorrow that we plan ahead or worry a lot. Each moment is felt with the anticipated heat of the time ahead. Now is never independent. It is always pressed between the archived past & the unknown tomorrow. Time is so dynamic & elusive that it comes & goes with all sorts of surprises. When we feel we control it, it moves ahead along its path, disrupting preparations & provisions. We therefore need an outsider, an entity outside of time, to help us cope with the speed & change in life. Not only does God occupy all aspects of time. He also reigns over it. "Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD...is the Rock eternal"
