The promises of the Bible are too good to be priced. It is sickening to watch people commercializing giving. On Sunday morning before church, I began to listen to a young 'prophet' sitting by a famous Christian host. He said 41 is the number of overflow, citing the 40-day occasions in the Bible. He later concluded by urging viewers to send $141 or 1041 as a condition to receiving blessings. What an utter dishonor to the sacred! We never earn God's goodness. What we offer in praise or gift is only a token. Sunday Service is not Sunday Market. Jesus isn't only a giver, or receiver of our humble gifts; He is also a "table turner"
