Let God occupy your empty chambers.

An ‘empty’ glass has air in it. Nothingness isn’t in it, but rather in our minds. The evidence of its content comes from the bubbling as liquid is poured into it. Similarly, we feel we are empty, because those things that we aspire for are missing within. Pessimism is baked in vacuum. And we begin to multiply it baselessly. The greatest of all losses is the feeling of emptiness while the Spirit of the Lord makes a living within. If we have received “the Spirit of sonship” (Rom 8:15), we should let this reality direct our personality. The audit could be at a loss. But with God as an ever increasing asset within, our lives aren’t in bankruptcy. Let God occupy your empty chambers. NA, in Christ.
