Copying the colors from heaven while neglecting core values will have serious consequences.

Friday witnessed the painful compromise on marriage as the US supreme court narrowly voted to legalize same sex union. What is more disturbing is the reception of the news by the White House. Its Twitter & Facebook pages were painted rainbow to celebrate "equality and progress".

The rainbow in essence is an expression of a covenant that was made after God's compassion following the Flood (Ge 9:13). It is ironic to see the colors representing deviant behaviors & unnatural acts.

The rainbow on the sky is a well-favored reminder both to God & humanity that the world won't vanish by flood again. The colors on the flag however will continue to nag & anger. And the last Person to mess with is God. Copying the colors from heaven while neglecting core values will have serious consequences.
