Seasons have four faces that define & reorganize nature. Life submits to their authority. They keep their cycles no matter what. People have no choices but adjust themselves to the changes taking place around them. Yes “there is a time for everything and a season for every activity” (Ecc 3:1). Each person survives a season of their own along the path. As growth & beauty in nature occur in seasonal succession, so does personal development. The only downside is the length with the wintery experiences outpacing the summer like times. As the ‘outdoor’ get colder & frostier though, we get ‘indoors’ for prayer & protection. And God receives us with the fire burning for warmth.
