Judah..... A life that broke my heart into pieces let's rewind a little... Let’s not forget that Judas was an apostle, with all that this entailed. He was hand-picked!!!!! by Jesus to take a special role in the work of spreading the gospel. Judas was exposed to as much teaching and as many miracles as anyone, and even participated.

Moreover, Judas held a significant ministerial office too. Being in charge of the ‘church’ money wasn’t a minor task. You don’t make a stranger your treasurer; such roles are reserved for people of trust.

So while studying I was asking myself why am I gonna blame Juda, since it was prophesied before the time that ‘he’ would betray Jesus. But then again, the Bible NEVER said that 'he' would be "Judah" to fulfill that prophecy. Instead, he qualified himself. as great as it is to be of use for a holy prophecy, what a disaster it would be, to be a bad one (not the prophecy referred as bad... But Judah being the cause) and it astounds me how his personality, in fact, leads him to be the 'betrayer' one in Christ's life history. In the bible, it says.... " ከዚህ በኋላ ምኞት ፀንሳ ኃጢአትን ትወልዳለች፤ ኃጢአትም ካደገች በኋላ ሞትን ትወልዳለች።" (የያዕቆብ መልእክት 1:15) And I believe that is what happens in his life. What he goes after conquered him I guess... Judas had a ‘love-of-money’ issue (John 12:4-6, 1 Tim 6:10), out of which the devil built a stronghold......

 ነገር ግን ከደቀ መዛሙርቱ አንዱ አሳልፎ ሊሰጠው ያለው የስምዖን ልጅ የአስቆሮቱ ይሁዳ። ይህ ሽቱ ለሦስት መቶ ዲናር ተሽጦ ለድሆች ያልተሰጠ ስለ ምን ነው? አለ። ይህንም የተናገረ ሌባ ስለ ነበረ ነው እንጂ ለድሆች ተገድዶላቸው አይደለም፤ ከረጢትም ይዞ በውስጡ ከሚገባው ይወስድ ስለ ነበረ ነው።

" ገንዘብን መውደድ የክፋት ሁሉ ሥር ነውና፥ አንዳንዶች ይህን ሲመኙ፥ ከሃይማኖት ተሳስተው በብዙ ሥቃይ ራሳቸውን ወጉ።

Christ ministry took 3 years and a half..... And Judah was there doing all the things the other apostles do... Being in the right place.... Serving his calling.... And yet.... He himself fall for his lust... And

በዚያን ጊዜ የአስቆሮቱ ይሁዳ የሚባለው ከአሥራ ሁለቱ አንዱ ወደ ካህናት አለቆች ሄዶ። ምን ልትሰጡኝ ትወዳላችሁ እኔም አሳልፌ እሰጣችኋለሁ? እነርሱም ሠላሳ ብር መዘኑለት።
(የማቴዎስ ወንጌል ምዕ. 26)

By his own will, he goes to them..... " his own accord" ......" ከዚያችም ሰዓት ጀምሮ አሳልፎ ሊሰጠው ምቹ ጊዜ ይሻ ነበር።"
(የማቴዎስ ወንጌል 26:16)

What a huge loss in life it is??? Judah never gets to take part in the ministry of being with Christ for all those years, neither did he even see Christ's crucifixion.... He did not see how much worth was the 30 dinar he gained in passing over Christ...... And

በዚያን ጊዜ አሳልፎ የሰጠው ይሁዳ እንደ ተፈረደበት አይቶ ተጸጸተ፥ ሠላሳውንም ብር ለካህናት አለቆችና ለሽማግሎች መልሶ።ንጹሕ ደም አሳልፌ በመስጠቴ በድያለሁ አለ። እነርሱ ግን። እኛስ ምን አግዶን? አንተው ተጠንቀቅ አሉ።ብሩንም በቤተ መቅደስ ጥሎ ሄደና ታንቆ ሞተ።

A complete loss of this or afterlife, despair, sadness, emptiness! In studying the tragic life and choices of Judas, I see few sobering life lessons for us:

• Anointing without grace and the fruit of the Spirit can destroy our life. Nobody will get to heaven merely because they performed signs and wonders or received one Mat 7:21-23.

• Jesus is looking for fruits (of holiness), not leaves (of legalism)! — Matt 21:17-20.
  
  
• Be careful how we live and what prophesy our life fulfills. Some say;“God can use anybody!” But to what purpose are we being ‘used’? Remember, God used Pharaoh (to show His power) and he perished!
  
  
• We cannot serve two masters. We’re either with Jesus or not. There’s no middle ground John 6:70-71.
  
  
• It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.Hebrews 10:31.
  
  
• Our heart is ultimately shaped by where we lay our treasures. Where’s the treasure of our soul's heart right now? What do we value above God? — Matthew 6:19-21.
